Shimano T Curve Premium and Twinpower Trout Combo
The Shimano Twinpower 1000 and T Curve Premium spin rod match up to create an affordable yet high quality and reliable Ultralight Trout combo. This combo is ideal in conditions where Trout are at their most finicky and reluctant to eat, the slow taper of the T Curve Premium allows the angler to cast even the smallest of lures far upstream into the jaws of hungry Trout. Additionally the shorter length assists the angler when fishing in heavy and dense bushland so often encountered across NSW and Victorian Trout country. The short length means you can still produce precise overhead casts even in heavy tree cover. The lightweight Shimano Twinpower 1000 is a comfortable and smooth reel to use, proving a joy to fish with on long expeditions. The 4lbs PowerPro adds an extra level of finesse to the combo helping the angler cast further either up rapids or into deep pools.

The Shimano Twin Power has a proud 30 years of history since its birth. For 2020, the newly released model is equipped with a metal rotor that integrates the Coresolid philosophy of quality and solidness. This has been pursued for many years and engineered to suppress distortion and twisting of the reel body underload. When paired with the metal Hagane Body, the rigidity and durability of the frame has been improved significantly. In addition, the stiff metal rotor creates a stable winding feel that is comparable to a Stella – the ultimate in smooth reeling.
