Snapper Soft Plastic Rod and Reel Fishing Combo

Perfect entry level spinning combo for anglers looking to further challenge themselves and give snapper on soft plastics a red hot crack. Suitable for estuary and inshore soft plastic fishing applications this combo is comprised of two of Daiwa's favourite entry level products, the Sienna 4000 spinning reel and the RZ 702HFS rod to match. This is spooled up with Daiwa J Braid x4 20lb featuring increased abrasian resistance, great knot strength and incredible senstivity. A very capable combo for pulling strong fish away from nasty structure. This rod is capable of throwing soft plastics and other lures up to approximately 1oz in weight.

Sienna Spinning Reels

There is a 1000, 2500, C3000 and 4000 size available which opens up a range of light line fishing options, from whiting through to flathead. With braided fishing line becoming more popular the Sienna reels are well suited as the AR-C spool increases distance by preventing wind knots, and smaller loops running through the stripping guide. Depending on the size, the drag power rating is between 3 and 8.5Kg which is more than enough to handle such species. Finished in a black and red cosmetic, they match great with many of Shimano’s fibreglass and graphite rods.
