This combo  will be effective fishing for Flathead, Bream and Trevally in Harbours and Estuaries. The Daiwa Tatula Rod 1.5-3kg 7ft is one of Daiwa's latest releases and are another very good bang for buck rod. This rod has a 1.5-3kg rating and a cast weight of up to 7g making it a good choice if you like fishing out to depths like 15m but is more effective casting around  shallow weed beds as well as sand flats and structure such as pylons and bridges. The reel is the Shimano Stradic 1000, we picked this reel as it is very light but still has ample drag, and strong enough to do any or the work you will need it to do. Ultimatley the ideal purpose of this combo is throwing small sized vibes such as the EcoGear ZX40 targeting bread and butter species, the fast taper and responsive blank of the Tatula rods will keep the angler in contact with their vibe regardless of if it is casted out or dropped below on the boat. Once the fish is hooked the solid backbone that the Tatula rods are built on will help you turn fish away from structure.
