Fishing for Giant Trevally with Poppers is not only extremely exciting and addictive but also one of the most effective ways to catch GT. 

Lures such as the Nomad Chug Norris or Rapala X-Rap Magnum create large splashes on the surface of the water when worked alerting all pelagics in the immediate area of its presence triggering their predatory instincts.

Typically Popping rods need to be a bit stiffer than Stickbait rods as you want to have the most possible contact with your lure when working it to assure optimal action.
