The Shimano Caius and Atomic Arrowz is an affordable combo for Barramundi fishing, this setup is extremely versatile and can be used from both the land and boat. The Atomic Arrowz rods are built off a strong yet lightweight blank giving the angler enough headturning ability to drive the biggerfish away from structure yet also provides a comfortable fishing experience. The Shimano Caius 150 HG is the equilibrium mixture of affordability and quality, technologies such as stainless steel ball bearings and the VBS breaking system found in more expensive reels are present in the Caius. Using a high speed reel such as the Caius can be beneficial when lure fishing as the angler is able to quickly remove slack in the line after casting, meaning you have contact with the lure and the ability to quickly set the hook if the lure is hit on impact with the water. Additionally you can work lures such as soft plastics and hardbodies faster, triggering a reaction bite.
